The Lone Star Wind Orchestra Percussion Ensemble offers weekly after-school musical enrichment for children of all skill levels. Students can learn, explore, and enhance their percussion skills through a curriculum that emphasizes technique, music reading, and foundational studies. The program features separate beginner and advanced groups, allowing for targeted instruction and opportunities to perform and grow in a supportive, community-focused environment.

Trinity Basin Preparatory partners with the Dallas Tennis Education Academy to offer an after-school program that combines tennis instruction with character and academic development. Designed for under-resourced youth, the program helps students build physical skills, self-esteem, leadership, and a strong work ethic. Through tennis, mentorship, and the A.C.E Curriculum, students develop social-emotional skills, problem-solving strategies, and academic engagement in a fun, supportive environment. Our goal is to help every child become a champion in life — on and off the court.

Athletics Program Overview

Trinity Basin Preparatory participates in the Texas Charter School Academic & Athletic League (TCSAAL). All students must have a current physical to be eligible for tryouts. Uniforms are provided for every sport.

A participation fee applies to each sport, but students playing multiple sports in the same season pay only one fee. Fees must be submitted by the district deadline for each sport. Students must also be passing all classes to maintain eligibility.
